The Staff

The Mississippi Ethics Commission is served by a small, dedicated staff of professional public servants. The staff serve at the will and pleasure of the executive director, who serves at the will and pleasure of the Commission. The Ethics Commission is outside the state personnel system.

The agency employs two full-time investigators who must cover the entire state. The staff also includes the executive assistant who serves as administrative assistant to the director and assistant director, the investigative assistant who maintains investigative files, the disclosure analyst who manages statements of economic interest, and the accounting clerk who attends to the agency's fiscal affairs.
